I'm Back....
Hey blog readers...sorry for the long delay. Between being completely unmotivated to post and just plane creatively stumped I have not been posting. But I think that is changing.
Sharkboy started Kindergarten this year. He likes it for the most part, and seems to be trying to conform to the rules and changes that come with all day school. They have a "Behavior Rainbow" that is used as a tool to let us (the parents) know how his day goes. It basically is very similar to the "Department of Homeland Security's Terror Alert Level" Everybody starts out the day on Green. If they are caught doing something good they can move up to Blue or Purple, however if they are caught doing something naughty they move down to Yellow or Orange. If they are really bad it is Red and we have to contact the teacher.
So far we have seen most of the middle colors. Today was an orange day. He said he had a green morning, but then at recess this afternoon he "got in a girls face" over a ball. Needless to say he fell 2 levels to Orange. I responded with grounding him from Outside, Friends and TV. We will see how tomorrow goes.
Tonight I have to work "Trade time" at the firehouse. I get to hang with the "B-shift" boys. Cigar time on the patio is on the schedule.
Well that is all I have for now...I am sure there will be more in the near future with Sharkboy in school. He is always good for a story or 2...
Be Kind, Be Safe...
Shalom my Peeps!
